Trottiland Adelboden

Coast down the mountain at your own pace and then head back up to the next starting point by bus or cable car – Vogellisi Mountain’s motto is “45 kilometres, unique to the world”. Families can try out seven different downhill scooter routes ranging from mountain passes to panoramic tours.

Vogellisi – The Adventure Trail

As the local song goes, “If only I knew where Vogellisi was…she comes from Adelboden”. The legendary bird lady from Adelboden characterises both the landscape and hikes with children. This themed hiking trail between Sillerenbühl and Bergläger has 10 interesting stages including Geisterwald to Adlerhorst.

Oeschinensee Mountain Coaster

Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg doesn’t need snow for a thrilling toboggan run. The perfect way to enjoy a cool breeze on a warm day is on the 750 metre mountain coaster starting at the Oeschinen cable car summit station. With Blüemlisalp behind you and the Kandertal Valley straight ahead, young and old alike can descend 150 metres in altitude past fir trees and across flowering meadows.

Griesalp – The Steepest Post Bus Route

With an incline as much as 28%, the Griesalp service from Reichenbach lives up to its reputation as the steepest post bus route in Europe. After your ride, the Post Bus Adventure Trail, with its 13 informative boards, leads you back down to Kiental.

Globi Kinderland on Engstligenalp

Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg is famous for its hospitality, and cartoon character Globi is one of our most entertaining and popular hosts. Globi’s very own cable car takes families to the broad plateau on Engstligenalp above Engstligen Falls. Here, the blue bird with a beret invites you to explore the mountain world together.

Mountain Tubing

Fun at up to 90 km (56 miles) per hour – with mountain tubing, daredevils can hurtle down the slopes of the Swisscom Nordic Arena ski jumps on pneumatic tyres. This modern facility is located at the entrance to Kandersteg and is not exclusive to ski jumpers in the summer months.

Marmot Trail on Betelberg

Lenk’s closest mountain promises variety in summer – towering high above the valley below, this themed trail offers a variety of natural experiences. Between the Leiterli summit station and the Stoss middle station, visitors can play, discover and learn in an interactive marmot den.
