Trail Etiquette: A Way for Everyone

For the trail and for the others: With this bike code, bikers and hikers are respectful together.

1. The mountain says hello:

Eye contact and friendly words always get you further.

2. Ring a bell? For sure with you!

With early signals you make yourself noticed – and that makes people grateful.

3. The faster one gives way:

In the bike region, you let the hikers go first. So just brake or get off briefly.

4. Protect the floor:

Leaving the path or blocking the rear wheel is therefore a matter of choice.

5. Get on with the cow:

The meadow is their living room – it means closing gates and treating animals with consideration.

6. Mountain nature remains untouched

Sure, you give the alpine world its peace and leave no traces on the way.

A good choice is already thalf the fun: On less frequented paths and at off-peak times, the ride is much more carefree.
